Jason R. AulaLOS ANGELES, California — On Tuesday, November 8th, 2022, pursuant to AB 361, the Signal Hill City Council continued to hold virtual meetings.
The city council opted to reappoint Council Member Copeland to the Los Angeles Vector Control District for a new four-year term. In addition, the city council waived reading full ordinances and will only be required to read the title of the ordinance instead. Mayor Keir Jones made a proclamation in recognition of the Signal Hill Police Department in honor of Law Enforcement Records and Support Personnel Day, November 8, 2022. Mayor Jones also made a proclamation in recognition of Deputy City Manager Scott Charney's retirement on November 30, 2022. The next regularly scheduled Signal Hill City Council Meeting will be held Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at 7:00 P.M. City Council Members are compensated at a rate of $694.14 per month.
