​LOS ANGELES, California — On Tuesday, July 26th, 2022, pursuant to AB 361, the Signal Hill City Council continued to hold virtual meetings.

The City Council is in process of appointing Joseph M. Hoefgen to Interim City Manager until a permanent City Manager is picked. Mayor Keir Jones authorized an agreement of employment with the City of Signal Hill and Interim City Manager. The City of Signal Hill adopted a pay schedule in accordance with CalPERS for the new Interim City Manager.

Green Giant Landscape, Inc. completed a contract with the City of Signal Hill, Publics Work Department and invoiced for payment from the city. The City Council authorized $142,000 to replace two Publics Work Department vehicles. 

​The next regularly scheduled Signal Hill City Council Meeting will be held Tuesday, August 9, 2022, at 7:00 P.M.

City Council Members are compensated at a rate of $694.14 per month.
