Jason R. AulaLOS ANGELES, California — On Tuesday, March 8th, pursuant to AB 361, the Signal Hill City Council continued to hold virtual meetings. The Signal Hill City Council per CalCities recommended adopting a resolution in opposition to Initiative 21-0042A1, the Taxpayer and Government Accountability Act. The resolution will likely include an incorporated list of projects funded by Senate Bill 1 (SB 1). Mayor Keir Jones introduced the new Public Works Department Director, Thomas Bekele. The next regularly scheduled Signal Hill City Council meeting will be held Tuesday, March 22, 2022, at 7:00 p.m. City Council Members are compensated at a rate of $694.14 per month.
